happy new year my matcha-misos!!!! i again apologize for my long time absence, but you should be excited to hear that i will finally be free of the burdens keeping me from you all. what could be a better way to celebrate than a brand-new review!!!!!

after a long night of gabbing and ice skating, i found myself desperately in need of a refreshing bev. knowing me, it was a matcha. so i headed over to the Alfred on Ventura Place with my good friend to get a green start to the year. if you didn't know, Alfred is typically packed, but this morning was a little bit different. we snagged the perfect parking spot and were in and out with our bevs in under five minutes. so! let's get into the order.

a 24oz matcha with oatmilk and one pump of vanilla absolutely hit the spot per-usual. one thing i really liked about Alfred's matcha was the milk to tea ratio -- it was virtually perfect and made for a really tasty sip. the ice to bev ratio was also fabulous and i did not feel that the drink was watered down whatsoever. the only weird thing was that the matcha tasted extremely fruity?? like, as if it was infused with some sort of cherry or mango situation. my friend had the same experience, but trust i still absolutely loved the matcha. i absolutely recommend!!!!

also, little bit of an update for the future!!! i'm super excited to announce that i will be moving to NYC next january, and that Matcha & Miso will be expanding to the East Coast!!! thank you guys for reading and hopefully maybe thinking about my reviews on occasion. happy holidays, and i look forward to posting more this year :)
