Well hello Matcha & Miso fans! I've arisen from the dead yet again to spark some joy in your lives with a tasteful matcha review. This time, I've ventured beyond my turf, and into the lovely bay area of San Francisco. I'm spending the weekend with my high school debate team on a second-to-last hurrah as an assistant coach and the experience has been lovely so far! SF is one of my favorite cities (number 4 on my cumulative list), so I'm always happy to be here. Conveniently, my fellow matcha-loving co-cap and best friend found a beautiful list of the top matcha shops in the whole city! Let's discuss Stonemill Matcha.

Over all I would describe this as really, really yummy. Like, incredibly earthy but not to the point of grassy-ness, and with deep, rich flavors. It started with a more bitter flavor, evolving into something more sweet and slightly fruity. I did get mine sweetened with cane sugar while my friend chose to go without, and it doesn't seem to have made that major a difference. Even the color of this matcha is perfect to me; its such a lovely shade of green even with the addition of oat milk. I finished the whole drink, then let the ice melt, and drank the weird watered down version too, and it was just as delicious. I'd rate this a 10/10, maybe even more. It's genuinely one of the best matcha's I've had and I'll totally come back if I'm ever in the bay.
That's all for today friends! For now, stay sipping, I'll hopefully be back soon!!!
Xoxo,
Gabs
